The Frederick Area School District is seeking applicants for the following positions starting as soon as possible:

• Special Education Paraprofessional:  This is a full time (Monday-Thursday) position.  Applicants must have at minimum a high school diploma with some college experience preferred (48 credit hours) but not required.  Hires who do not have credit hours will be required to take a basic content exam.  Responsibilities include assisting students with special needs in classrooms, providing lessons or specialized instruction as directed by lead teacher, and monitoring student behavior.  Interested applicants should submit an employment application to Jessica.Ringgenberg@k12.sd.us.

• Substitute Teachers:  This is a very flexible position for individuals looking for work on a part-time/as needed basis.  Responsibilities include providing instruction based on teacher lesson plans, monitoring student behavior, and assisting with student needs.  Calls are placed on an as needed basis for full or half days.  Interested applicants should submit an application or questions to Jessica.Ringgenberg@k12.sd.us.

The Frederick Area School District is looking for a district business manager to start in June 2022.  Interested individuals should have knowledge or experience in bookkeeping or accounting and strong organizational skills.  Knowledge in human resources is also helpful, but not required.   Job duties include management of school finances and budgets, purchase of district supplies, and serve as secretary to the school board.  To apply, send cover letter, resume, and letters of reference to Jeff Kosters (Jeff.Kosters@k12.sd.us) before May 27, 2022.
