Hello students and families,
I have been teaching 3rd grade in Frederick Area School District since the fall of 2017. I have truly enjoyed my experience in this school district and look forward to many more years to come. Teaching is a wonderful gift that is so rewarding to me year after year. Each new class brings adventure, diversity, and a way for me to learn and grow as an educator.
Prior to teaching in Frederick, I worked as a reading interventionalist for the Aberdeen School District. My family and I currently live in Aberdeen with our Olde English Bulldogge Rhea. My husband, Chad, works as a conductor and engineer for the BNSF Railway. My oldest daughter, Katelyn, graduated from Frederick in 2019 and went on to the Army Reserves where she trained as an ammunition specialist. My son Levi is a sophomore this year and also attends Frederick Area School District. His passion is hockey but also loves baseball, football, and cross country. Alivia is the youngest in our family. She will be finishing her last year in junior high this year as an 8th grader. She can't get enough of volleyball, is excited about basketball, and is trying out cross country for the first time. She loves to spend quality time with her friends. I couldn't be more proud of my family.
I look forward to another adventure this school year. May we have as normal of a life as possible with all the challenges the covid-19 pandemic has given us. Please know I am available anytime (day or night) if you have questions or concerns. Communication is a priority to ensure the success of our children!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Little
